Who we are

Johnn Dawson Training is a work health & safety training provider serving the ACT and NSW. We focus on the everyday on-site hazards that do the most harm — asbestos, silica dust, and the basics of personal protective equipment and working safely in construction.

Our training is built to be understood by a first-week apprentice, not just a safety officer. Short videos show you what each hazard actually looks like and where it hides, our study guides break the theory into bite-sized sections, and you finish with an assessment run live by a real trainer — not an anonymous online quiz.

How our training works

1 · Watch — start with the short videos for your topic and see the hazard for yourself.
2 · Study — work through the study guide and tick off each section as you go.
3 · Practice — take the free practice test as many times as you like, until you're confident.
4 · Register — book your assessment when you're ready.
5 · Get assessed — sit the assessment online in a live class, guided by your trainer, and earn your accreditation. During the session your trainer confirms you've completed the required study before the assessment begins.

Where we train

We work with apprentices, tradies, employers and RTOs across the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales. Study material and practice tests are available to anyone, any time — assessments are run live online with your trainer.
